Broker's Comments
Boatshed Essex are pleased to be presenting this tidy , Beneteau Oceanis 311 Clipper, which is a modern, performance cruiser with spacious and comfortable accommodation. The design is based on a performance sailing hull and the Clipper was last in a series of three, offering numerous additional features, such as refrigeration and wheel steering.
The boat has a spacious cockpit, with a safe feel to it whilst at sea and the side decks and foredeck are of good size, making going forward, anchoring and sail management straightforward. Inside, there are two spacious cabins, including a separate aft owners double cabin and a roomy saloon and galley, which all provide comfortable living and sleeping accommodation for six, with a nice amount of privacy.
This version has been well maintained throughout its ownership and is therefore in good condition. It has the additional benefit of all lines being led aft to the cockpit and a remote controlled windlass.
Inside the boat, I was impressed by the good condition, size and comfort of the accommodation, along with with an engine that also looks to be in good condition and a varied inventory of navigation instruments.
This is a well regarded, modern, sailing craft, which has been well maintained and is very much in commission. It provides a range of opportunities from club racing, to coastal cruising and further afield, in comfort, should an owner wish.
